Central Coast Tattoos started our journey in Morro Bay in 1992. We are the oldest studio on the Central Coast and with the original owners. 

Chrys Young is the owner and Master Artist/ Piercer with over 32 yrs in the industry. She is also a practicing Nurse Practitioner and founder of the Body Art Safety Seminars, a program that teaches safe body art for practitioners all over the world. She does tattoo conventions world wide and is an award winning artist with her tattoos. You can see our certificates in studios all over and on TV programs. Chrys specializes in cover ups, fine line work, and realism. 

Cynthia Smith is our Master Piercer with over 25 yrs in the industry and Chrys daughter. She manages every day operations, does piercings and is the operations manager for the BBP Program. Everybody loves her bedside manner and skill. 

We are a small studio in a small beachside community with a large tourist element.
